Can anyone be face painted?
No - all children must be at least 3 years old to receive face painting.

All professional face painting products come with a regulatory and insurance classification of 3 yrs+., A child's skin barrier is not fully formed until the age of 2-3 years, making product testing on children under the age of 3 ethically impossible. Without a fully formed skin barrier, irritants, chemicals or other foreign ingredients are much more likely to cause skin irritation and can even result in lifelong skin conditions.

At a consenting adult's consent, we will paint a small design on the arm of a child 2-3 years old, or offer a balloon where balloons are also a service being offered that day.

We also cannot paint anyone presenting with cold and flu symptoms, or who has obviously open, infected or irritated skin.

Do I need to provide you with anything on the day?
The only thing we may request is two adult sized chairs for the face painting/glitter component of the party, and a table. These details will be included in your client brief.

What about prizes for the games?
I provide those too, and they're suitable for both boys and girls.

What if I have extra children attending?
If you are expecting more children than what's recommended for a package, you have the option to add-on an additional artist or extend the time. If you end up having more children attend on the day (eg, unexpected siblings) we will only be able to accommodate what is specified ahead of the day. If a significantly higher number of children attend on the day, some children may not receive a prize or may not be painted. If there is no booking directly following yours, your artist may be able to stay back for an additional 30 minutes which can be billed post-party.

Are Glitter Tattoos water safe?
Yes! They will not wash off with water and are an awesome addition to pool parties, whereas the face painting will wash straight off. All of my glitter tattoos are applied using cosmetic grade adhesive and eco-glitter (eucalyptus based) and so pose no threat to delicate skin or to our beautiful environment. Glitter tattoos will naturally wear off after about 3-5 days, or they can be removed early with baby oil or coconut oil.

Are bubbles just outdoor, or can you do them indoors too?
I am currently preparing to start offering amazing indoor bubble shows! These will be slightly more expensive than the outdoor shows as they require more work, equipment, specialized bubble juice, and the indoor area will need to be prepped to ensure that there are no spills, trips etc.

Are Balloons eco-friendly?
Yes! I only use latex balloons (not foil), and latex balloons are bio-degradable, and will break down at the same rate as wood chip.
